The motivation behind Stoke is simple – get more time foiling.

Wing foiling is exploding as a sport around the world - and with new sports comes innovation. The Stoke Foil Boost delivers a pulse of propulsion to help get the rider up on foil faster and more easily.

This compact, elegantly crafted, and detachable electric propulsion system enables foiling at the mere press of a button. Providing approximately fifty boosts per session to ensure a significantly enhanced foiling experience.

Fitted to any board, Stoke Foil Boost allows users to be up and riding more often, more effortlessly and more enjoyably.

AN AGILE PROGRAM

Refined for success

The journey from an initial technology prototype to a market-ready product has been marked by extensive testing and development. Critical to the products’ success was meticulous design, supplier management, and testing of the technology package.

This package, comprising a battery, motor, central controller and a remote control, underwent numerous iterations of construction and integration. A variety of technology modules and configurations were put to the test to fine-tune aspects such as battery longevity, thrust, thermal management, product durability, cost-efficiency and DFM.

An IP68 detachable system

The Stoke Foil Boost is designed to complement any foil setup. It stands out as a compact, aesthetically pleasing, lightweight, and detachable electric propulsion system.

Crafted for simplicity and durability, especially in the challenging marine environment, the industrial design and mechanical engineering considerations were extensive.

Factors such as user appeal, ease of operation, robustness, corrosion resistance and achieving a high IP rating of IP68 for superior water ingress protection were paramount in the design process.
