Simplifying transactions
Envoy is an intuitive library user interface created with FE Technologies to encourage self check out.
Our designers developed self-checkout processes that were both fast and simple to encourage their uptake by the broad range of library users. This involved understanding user needs, working through process methods, building concepts and assisting with user testing.
The concepts focused on a clear hierarchy of information with a touch of fun. This aided use and appeal for all users including the visually impaired, multilingual, children and the elderly.

Easy transactions
The Envoy interface required that the interaction process be simple and intuitive. Wire-framing and role playing the experience was key to quickly developing and test the workflow with the internal design team, library users and library staff.

Not only did the project result in a simplified and engaging interface, it also created a visual style guide and customized graphic elements for use in other interface applications and marketing materials.

Sparking joy
Ongoing custom animations have been deployed across the UI in different international regions. These small, fun animations have offered FE a chance to seasonally engage with their library customers.
