Helping brands to move quickly
The Chloromatic cell was a design upgrade for the existing Davey Lifeguard and Nipper Chlorinator systems. The cell is a key component in the chlorination systems for the water treatment of salt water pools and spas. The Davey systems are intended to be easy to install and plug and play for customers.
Trike supported the Davey R&D team with development through: product concepts, detailed design and engineering, prototype sourcing, functional testing and production assembly reviews. This allowed Davey to move forwards quickly with the project, while engaging and satisfying key stakeholders.

Brand & ergonomics
The Chloromatic Cell is part of an existing product range, within a brand that has strong visual language.
Trike offered design concepts that enhanced the Davey brand and seamlessly integrated functional benefits. The cell includes a transparent body for pool owners to easily see salt build up and tool free fittings for ease of installation and maintenance.
PROTOTYPING
—
A hands on approach
The design process involved practical prototyping and testing.
Our team worked closely with Davey to ensure the product met the needs of the users and addressed key design for manufacture considerations on the Davey production line.
